Setting really close to tram station, the bus stop and frequent running trams. Very welcoming and friendly stuff and smooth check in. Satisfactory breakfast and a lot of coffee, tea, muesli, eggs, and cheese.
The bed - very uncomfortable.

The room was spacious and clean, perfect for a comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable price and the added bonus of a kitchen. The location was great, with easy access to public transportation and a supermarket nearby. Late check-in was a breeze thanks to the detailed instructions provided. we had a pleasant experience.
In terms of drawbacks, the kitchen equipment was a bit lacking, with limited plates, cups, and cookware. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was slow and there was a bit of noise from nearby children playing.

This hotel was ideal for a short city break. The room was spacious and comfortable , and for a little extra access to a kitchen is possible , which is great for self catering. Even if you don't opt for that , there is a good breakfast to be had in the hotel dining room. The staff were very good , friendly and helpful. I couldn't recommend Altstadtperle enough , it's well worth a try.
A bit far from the city centre , but if you've a car it's not a problem and the city's transport links are good , so don't let this put you off.

Cozy place; large room; large bathroom; quiet surroundings; 4-5 min. walk to tram no. 12 station to city center (6 min. by tram); 5-6 min. walk to 2 large supermarkets (rewe and rossmann)
uncomfortable bed and pillows; cold building during night; no safety box; expensive breakfast (we did not include it in our room reservation)

I was absolutely free to da what I want. I mean, the staff didn't bother me much which was my desire exactly. The room is large, comfortable and has a great view through the french windows, which is extremely european and gives one increadible feelings when wake up.

Very kind and helpful staff. Nice neighborhood with lovely villas. Although it's a bit suburban the tram stop (#2) is only 5 minutes away. With that the very center is only 10 minutes away. And it also goes during the night. Ticket costs 2 Euro during the day and 6 for night rides. The double room was made out of an apartment. Only the kitchen and the second room was closed. Has great Wifi and breakfast. Although our room was on the first floor between the reception and the dining hall facing the road, out nights were completely calm without any disturbance.

The location was great, the room was bright with a balcony, and there was enough space, and the staff at the reception desk was polite.

The rooms, that lies in another building than the reception and breakfastbuffet, are nice and large. When I was there, the temperatur was 38 degrees, so an aircondition could have been nice, but that could of cause raise the prices.

Very clean and pleasant facility located in an old charming neighborhood of turn of late 19th early 20th century estate homes. The apartment had a good sized family room, separate bedroom, nice kitchenette and large bathroom. Highly recommend.
The wi-fi didn't work on any of our two laptops or our iPad at first but email messages did get picked up overnight somehow. No elevator for our 2nd (European) story unit.

A hidden gem for history enthusiasts. Quaint rooms in a building with character. Breakfast was a race against time, but it made me feel like a student again! Great location, just a tram ride away from the center.
Who needs clean shoes anyway? No doormat to prevent bringing in the muddy snow.
